Seiner Named NPSI Deputy Lead

Dr. Seiner joined PNNL in 2010 and currently is a team lead within the Chemistry of Nuclear Materials group in the National Security Directorate (NSD). She is a trained radiochemist with experience in inorganic complexation, organic synthesis, chemical separations, and isotope production.

At PNNL her focus has been on areas of nuclear non-proliferation detection and analysis in multiple sponsor spaces. In addition to her team lead role, she’s the current NSD mission focus area lead for nuclear science, and is PNNL program area manager for the material production and detection portfolio within NNSA’s Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation R&D (NA-22). Her experience includes service as the nuclear security S&T deputy portfolio manager in charge of internal capability coordination and communication related to PNNL’s work in nuclear science.

“We thank Matt for his outstanding service to NPSI, and look forward to working with Brienne and benefitting from her knowledge and leadership,” says NPSI Lead Reid Peterson.
